DELAWARE AND NORTHERN HENRY COUNTIES UNTIL 415 AM EDT…

At 348 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a shower 8 miles southwest
of Anderson, moving east at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this shower. Thunder
is also possible.

Locations impacted include…
Muncie, Anderson, Yorktown, Pendleton, Fortville, Chesterfield,
Ingalls, Lapel, Edgewood, Daleville, Selma, Markleville, Sulphur
Springs, Mooreland, Mount Summit, Springport, Blountsville, Woodlawn
Heights, Country Club Heights and River Forest.

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN RUSH AND SOUTHERN HENRY
COUNTIES UNTIL 1015 PM EDT…

At 934 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of New Castle, or 16 miles west of Cambridge City,
moving east at 60 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
New Castle, Knightstown, Carthage, Spiceland, Kennard, Lewisville,
Straughn, Dunreith, Greensboro, Falmouth and Mays.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for
central and east central Indiana.

* Flood Warning for…
North central Henry County in east central Indiana…

* Until 545 PM EDT

* At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rain that will continue to
cause flooding. Rainfall near 4 inches fell this afternoon.
Addtional rainfall of a half inch will slow the receding of flood
waters.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Sulphur Springs, Mount Summit and Springport.

* Emergency management at 320 PM EDT reported several homes still
surrounded by water in Sulphur Springs that drained from local
farm fields.

heavy rain across the warned area. Over three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Jacobs Family Orchard near Mt. Summitr reported 4 inches of
rainfall and water flowing across County Road 75W.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Little Buck Creek and Williams Creek in this area will likley flood
in addition to numerous other roads.
