…Accumulating Snow Possible This Morning and Likely on
Sunday…

Light accumulating snow is likely at times this weekend. A slushy
inch or less is expected this morning over areas mainly near and
north of Interstate 70 as rain transitions over to snow. With
surface and ground temperatures at or above freezing…minimal
impacts are expected on roadways.

A more significant snowfall will come Christmas Eve day and early
Christmas Eve evening. 2 to 4 inches of accumulation is possible
near and north of Interstate 70 with lighter accumulations further
south. Slick and snow covered roads are expected.

Motorists should be alert to the potential of accumulating snow
over the Holiday weekend and allow extra time for travel. Stay
tuned for further updates from the National Weather Service
Indianapolis.
