…The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers and streams in central and southern Indiana…
Big Blue River…Big Raccoon Creek…Sugar Creek…Eagle Creek… Fall Creek…White River…Wildcat Creek…Big Walnut Creek… East Fork White River…Youngs Creek…White River…Eel River
.Significant to near major flooding will develop quickly in central and southern Indiana. Flood crests in southern Indiana will be similar to slightly higher than those of late February and early March.
Heavy rains of 1 to more than 3 inches have fallen in central Indiana. Additional rain will fall this afternoon and evening.
Numerous roads and some residential areas will flood in the next few days.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions…
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river conditions.

Flooding likely of Temple Avenue between Willow and Turkey Foot Roads, Ford Road near the Eagle Creek Bridge near 96th St. on the Marion and Boone County Line and Noel Road in northwest Marion County. Turkey Foot Road north of Temple Avenue and Holliday Road are flooded by more than 1 foot of water.
