…WINDY CONDITIONS WITH AN INCREASED FIRE WEATHER RISK CONTINUES…

Wind gusts approaching 40 mph will occur across central Indiana into early evening, especially in areas west of Interstate 69. These winds combined with relative humidity values from 20 percent to around 30 percent will keep the fire risk elevated.

Gusty winds could lead to unsecured objects being blown around or cause damage to outdoor tents. With the increased fire risk, outdoor burning is discouraged. If you must burn, ensure the fire is constantly monitored and be prepared to take action if control of the fire is lost.
