…A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN MADISON… NORTHEASTERN HANCOCK…SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE…SOUTHERN RANDOLPH AND HENRY COUNTIES…

At 934 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a broken line extending from near Winchester to 8 miles east of Fishers. Movement was south at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include…
Anderson, Greenfield, New Castle, Winchester, Pendleton, Fortville, Ingalls, Knightstown, Lynn, Spiceland, Shirley, Markleville, Kennard, Wilkinson, Sulphur Springs, Mooreland, Mount Summit, Losantville, Modoc and Cadiz.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 69 between mile markers 214 and 230.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 101 and 133.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
