A pair of upper level disturbances will bring light snow accumulation to central Indiana overnight. Up to an inch is possible by daybreak. This will impact the morning rush. Untreated roads will be slippery.

…Summary… The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has confirmed a tornado 4 miles ENE of Covington in Fountain County Indiana on April, 3rd 2018.
This EF0 tornado primarily went across cornfields while glancing two homesteads…where a few large tree branches were downed and one large trash dumpster blown over in a direction opposite from the environmental wind at the time.

…Summary… The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has confirmed a tornado 2 miles SW of Buck Creek in Tippecanoe County Indiana on April, 3rd 2018.
This EF0 tornado affected one homestead and a thin band of trees. Damage at the homestead included barn skylights being blown out from wind entering an east-facing opening, debris from half an outbuilding’s roof and collapsed wall sent into an adjacent field to the NE, downed tree branches with one breaking the garage window, and the top horizontal portion of a power pole being broken off. Also, straight-line wind damage was noted south and east of Buck Creek including downed trees and an outbuilding shifted off its foundation.

Big Blue River at Carthage Flatrock River at Saint Paul Sugar Creek at New Palestine
.Significant flooding has developed along Big Blue River at Carthage, Flatrock River at Saint Paul, and Sugar Creek at New Palestine. The rivers are expected to crest tonight near 10 to 11 feet. Tuesday had very heavy rainfall which will continue to create problems across central and southern Indiana. Rain is expected to be pushed out of the area overnight.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions…
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river conditions.
